Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday said the government is considering making RT-PCR test mandatory for passengers arriving in India from China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand in the wake of a surge of Covid-19 infections in these countries.
The Centre has asked states to ensure availability of medical oxygen in all health facilities and ensure uninterrupted supply chain for their refilling.
