Michigan surpasses 3 million COVID-19 cases – Detroit Free Press

The Michigan health department reported 9,814 new COVID-19 cases and 165 new deaths over the past week.
Michigan now has a total of 3,008,261 cases and 41,001 deaths due to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, as of Tuesday. That includes both confirmed and probable cases.

Of 8,481 confirmatory tests reported by the state health department Monday, 806 yielded positive results for a positivity rate of 9.5%.
