Police urge two men to come forward after fatal stabbing of 32-year-old man outside Cuban restaurant in Waterloo

  • Adrian Keise, 32, fatally stabbed outside the Cubana Restaurant on October 29
  • The victim was found near a block of flats at around 2.30am but died in hospital
  • Three men charged with his murder and are set to appear at the Old Bailey

Police investigating the fatal stabbing of Adrian Keise in south London have released images of two men they wish to speak to.

Mr Keise, 32, was stabbed outside the Cubana Restaurant on Lower Marsh Street, Lambeth on October 29.

He was found near a block of flats on Frazier Street at around 2.30am and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

He died a short time later.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as stab injuries. 

Three men have been charged with Mr Keise’s murder and are next due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, January 24. 

Officers believe the two men in the images may have witnessed the incident but have not yet come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: ‘If you are the people in these images, or if you know who they are, then I urge you to please get in touch with us.

‘I’d like to stress that you are not in any trouble. We believe that you may have important information relating to the brutal murder of Adrian outside the Cubana Restaurant.

‘Please, do the right thing and contact my team today – of if you’d prefer to stay anonymous then contact the independent charity Crimestoppers.’

It comes as data revealed that the Met Police responded to 13,405 incidents involving knives in just 12 months, in a further sign Lawless London has become the knife crime capital of the country.

Between October 2021 and June 2022, 49,991 non-fatal crimes using knives were recorded across England and Wales, according to crime survey data released by the Office for National Statistics.

This is equivalent to 136 incidents every single day.
