Provincetown: COVID-19 case counts, updates from latest state report – Wicked Local

In Thursday’s weekly report, released Dec. 29, Barnstable County (Cape Cod) had new 289 coronavirus cases, for a total of 47,448 since the pandemic started.
Barnstable County posted five new deaths, the state agency reported. The total probable and confirmed deaths from COVID-19 is 722 in Barnstable County.
Results from at-home rapid tests are not reported on the state platform.
The testing positivity rate for Provincetown between Dec. 4 and Dec. 17 was 4.26%, lower than last week, according to the state database. The number of lab-confirmed positive cases in that time frame was less than five, same as last week.

The testing positivity rate for Truro between Dec. 4 and Dec. 17 was 3.13%, lower than last week, according to the state database. The number of lab-confirmed positive cases reported in the state database in that time frame was less than five, same as last week.
