She has said she is ‘heartbroken’ about her father and stepmother’s impending imprisonment.
But while other family members have rallied round Todd, 53, and Julie Chrisley, 49, since they were sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison for tax evasion and fraud, his oldest daughter Lindsie has been notable by her absence.
In fact, she hasn’t seen the couple once since their sentencing on bank fraud and tax evasion last month.
Now, well-placed sources and official documents obtained by DailyMail.com show for the first time the part Lindsie, 33, may have played in their downfall.
Because, for all her recent protestations and despite a last-minute change of heart that saw her testify on her father’s behalf, DailyMail.com can reveal that Lindsie not only reached out to Georgia’s Department of Revenue (GDOR), she filed a report against her father with Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department and gave a lengthy interview to the FBI in which she shared shocking allegations of harassment, physical violence and blackmail.

Lindsie (left) took part in five seasons of Chrisley Knows Best and in 2017, with a divorce pending, she moved to Nashville to tape the show and stay with her father.
Lindsie stated that her father threatened to leak a sex tape of her if she did not lie for him in first his State, and later his federal, tax and fraud cases. Todd is pictured having lunch this week with his daughter Savannah’s ex fiance Nic Kerdiles

Most heinously Lindsie stated that her father threatened to leak a sex tape of her which had been bought by her half-brother, Chase, 26, if she did not lie for him in first his State, and later his federal, tax and fraud cases.

The Chrisleys have been spotted around Tennessee soaking up the last weeks of freedom before they report to prison. Todd was seen out to lunch while Julie was spotted shopping with her parents and adopted daughter.
They are due to report to prison on January 17. Todd faces 12 years inside, Julie seven.
Earlier this week an emotional Chase was accompanied by his father as he appeared to put up a For Sale sign outside his Franklin, Tennessee, home.
According to one well-placed source, ‘Lindsie called the GDOR in 2017 after Todd and Julie had been served with their state case because she was worried about the implications for her and her child [son Jackson, 10].
‘Then she just started saying what a horrible person her father was and how sick and tired she was of him and Julie getting away with stuff. She wanted everyone to know they were just the worst people.
‘She called regularly and spoke with Josh Waites (Director of the Office of Special Investigations at GDOR) and would give him information which he in turn would follow up on. Ultimately, she called the FBI and US Probation to report that Todd was harassing and intimidating her.
‘As the investigation went on Todd suspected she had spoken and was calling her a snake and saying things like she ‘needed to be careful.’
An email obtained by DailyMail.com shows just how seriously Lindsie took her father’s threats.
On August 13, 2019, the very day Chrisley and Julie were federally indicted on eight counts of fraud and two counts of tax evasion, Lindsie contacted the FBI to say she was ‘truly afraid.’
She wrote, ‘There’s been some concerning things that chase (sic) has been posting and I’m worried. Can you follow up with me. These are very suggestive – maybe I’m just truly afraid, but this is insane.’
Later that month Lindsie sat down with FBI agents in their Atlanta office.
DailyMail.com has obtained the report of the wide-ranging interview in which Lindsie, referred to by her married name of Campbell, stated that she had been estranged from her father from the age of 19 or 20 through her last years of college.
Real estate tycoon Chrisley only reached out to her in 2012 when he wanted her to be part of his reality TV show, ‘Chrisley Knows Best.’

DailyMail.com has obtained the report of the wide-ranging interview in which Lindsie, referred to by her married name of Campbell, stated that she was fearful of her father
The show originally featured all Chrisley’s children, including Lindsie’s brother Kyle, 32, from Chrisley’s first marriage and Chase, 26, Savannah, 25 and Graydon, 16 from his marriage to Julie.
Lindsie took part in five seasons and in 2017, with a divorce pending, she moved to Nashville to tape the show and stay with her father. It was while she was there that ‘6 to 8 police officers showed up at the door one morning during breakfast.’
They were there along with GDOR Director of the Office of Special Investigations, Josh Waites, to serve Todd and Julie.
According to one well-placed source it was following this that Lindsie reached out to Waites and, though they never met in person, they communicated regularly.
In 2017 the GDOR seized a storage facility used by the Chrisleys. The seizure fell on the last day’s filming of Chrisley Knows Best and, Lindsie told the FBI, Julie seemed ‘on edge and was very rude to the crew,’ that day.
The report states, ‘Campbell believes Julie was upset about the storage unit being seized.’ Tensions escalated to the point where Lindsie alleged Julie slapped her – she never filed a police report or official complaint but left the show following the incident.
In September, an article appeared online titled, ‘Todd Chrisley’s Shame: Wife Julie’s Secret Arrest Uncovered’ referring to the slapping incident and Chrisley thought Lindsie was behind the story.
On September 13, 2017, he tweeted, ‘Like mother like daughter, once a cheater always a cheater, once a liar always a liar. #truthmaycostyouyourchild #itscomingout #glovesoff.’ Todd has previously accused Lindsie’s mother, his first wife Teresa Terry of cheating.
He also tweeted, ‘Sometimes those that lie need 2 be exposed in order 2 stop the madness #cheatedtwice #thxgodforpuppycams #suemeoverthetruth #psycho.’
On July 16, 2019, Lindsie filed a report with Cherokee County Sheriff in which she ‘stated there is an ongoing issue with her family threatening and harassing her’

According to the FBI report this led Lindsie to believe that her father was talking about a sex tape that existed of her. The tape had been made when she and a man with whom she was in a brief relationship were unwittingly filmed having sex in her best friend’s apartment which unknown to them had a puppy-cam installed.
Father and daughter did not talk for the next two years when Lindsie received a text from her brother Kyle saying that Chrisley wanted to meet with her.
The report states, ‘Campbell thought Todd was going to apologize to her for everything…so she agreed to meet with him and drove to Chattanooga.’
They met in a restaurant and before going in Todd told Lindsie to leave her cell phone in her car.
The report continues, ‘Once in the restaurant Todd told her that he was going to be indicted for conspiracy and tax evasion and it was going to be bad and all over the media. Todd questioned Campbell about her involvement in all of this.’
As Chrisley’s interrogation continued, it notes, ‘Campbell became angry with Todd and told him he needed to stop and that he needed to tell Chase to stop. Todd told Campbell that she needed to be careful with Chase because what he had she did not want to mess with. Todd said that Chase had a sex video from a puppy cam of Campbell…that he bought for $5,000
Lindsie told Todd it was a crime to sell a sex tape, but he responded : ‘It’s not criminal, maybe civil,’ and warned Campbell to ‘just be careful,’ the report said.
On July 16, 2019, shortly after that meeting Lindsie filed a report with the sheriff of Cherokee County, Georgia, in which she ‘stated there is an ongoing issue with her family threatening and harassing her.’
According to the Sheriff’s Office complaint, ‘Lindsie stated that she recently learned her stepbrother who lives out of state claimed to have purchased a sex tape involving Lindsie.
‘Lindsie stated her father and stepbrother wanted her to lie about an incident and that if she refused to do so they were going to release the sex tape involving her.’
Lindsie did not follow up or press charges and the matter was dropped.
‘What’s really sad is that after everything that happened, Todd managed to flip Lindsie and bring her back on board,’ a source told DailyMail.com . Pictured Savannah, Julie, Todd and Lindsie in 2015
In the sentencing memorandum the prosecution called for a heavier prison term to be handed down to Chrisley in part because he, ‘threatened, intimidated, and unlawfully influenced his daughter, Lindsie Chrisley’
She also told FBI agents that she believed her father was having her followed.
Against this backdrop of drama, criminality and harassment spanning years, the source told DailyMail.com, ‘What’s really sad is that after everything that happened, Todd managed to flip Lindsie and bring her back on board.
‘Ultimately, she did exactly what he wanted her to do and testified for him and Julie. She said the sex tape thing was a big misunderstanding. It was embarrassing to watch because her testimony wasn’t convincing anyone.’
In fact, Lindsie was reprimanded by both the judge and the prosecution who made no bones about accusing her of lying for her father under oath.
In the sentencing memorandum the prosecution called for a heavier prison term to be handed down to Chrisley in part because he, ‘threatened, intimidated, and unlawfully influenced his daughter, Lindsie Chrisley.’
According to the government, ‘Todd and Julie Chrisley’s crime spree culminated in their attempts to obstruct the grand jury’s investigation and putting up witnesses to lie for them at trial, including Todd’s mother and his oldest daughter from his first marriage.’
They wrote, ‘Lindsie took the stand at trial and testified for her father and stepmother.
‘Todd Chrisley succeeded in manipulating his estranged daughter, bringing her back into the family fold, and putting her on the stand at trial.’
They stated, ‘Todd Chrisley not only tried to ‘unlawfully influence’ his daughter, Lindsie Chrisley; he succeeded.’
And, with Lindsie’s latest expressions of heartbreak and assertions of family unity, it seems likely that he continues to exert that influence to this day.
