Nathan Apodaca, aka the TikTok user who went viral in 2020 for a clip of his skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams while sipping from a bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice, was arrested for marijuana possession in Idaho.

The social media sensation, 38, was approached by Idaho state police because of an expired registration tag on his vehicle.

The officer then allegedly saw edibles in the glove box of the red Chevy Silverado and conducted a search during which they discovered three packages of THC gummies and a dab scraping tool with sticky residue.

Apodaca was subsequently arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts: marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released several hours later on a $600 bond.

Speaking with TMZ, Apodaca – who also goes by the name Doggface – said his arresting officer failed to read him his Miranda rights during the traffic stop and that he was falsely charged with possession of a firearm as a felon.

‘I do not have a felony on my record, which I told the officers,’ he said.

‘Despite me telling them this, I was taken into custody.

‘I was held in jail for several hours without bond before they told me they make [sic] a huge mistake,’ he said. ‘Then was told [sic] I was only being held on the weed charge and could bond out.’

The officers who apprehended Apodaca reported smelling marijuana when he approached the truck.

The TikTok star told TMZ that the officer initially told him he would just write a ticket.

‘They then found a gun and told me I was under arrest because I had a felony on my record and I wasn’t allowed to possess a firearm,’ he said.

‘However, I do not have a felony on my record, which I told the officers.

Apodaca has historically been open about his pension for pot.

His debut music video was a collaboration with known cannabis enthusiast Snoop Dogg, which dropped on 4/20.

Doggface boasts an incredible 7.1 million TikTok followers. But prior to his sudden rise to popular attention, he was living out of an RV parked in front of his brother’s home, without running water.

The meme-able personality’s car broke down in September of 2020 on the way to his job at a potato factory, which was when he decided to use his longboard to get to work and on the way recorded his life-changing TikTok video.

Since his reversal of fortune, Doggface purchased a $320,000 home in Idaho Falls, which he paid for in cash. Ocean Spray also sent him a new truck following the initial popularity of the video.
