Shocking footage shows an e-scooter rider colliding with a road sweeper at a crossing.
The e-scooter crosses the street while the traffic lights were still green on the Eurolink Industrial estate in Sittingbourne, Kent on November 24.
The rider attempted to drive past, unaware of oncoming traffic, but found himself right in front of the street sweeper before being overturned and landing on his right shoulder.
The sweeper was driving straight ahead at the green traffic light before the e-scooter emerged in front of it.

The breathtaking moment as the rider tumbled onto the ground happened on the Eurolink Industrial estate in Sittingbourne, Kent, on November 24 at 11.47 am
The footage shows that on collision the scooter driver is hit by the centre of the sweeper and rolls onto the floor with his legs flying in the air.
The rider instantly gets up on his feet before waving to the sweeper driver and picking up his scooter.
No injuries were reported at the incident which happened on November 24 at 11.47 am.

Thankfully, neither the rider or the sweeper driver were reported injured after the incident
A witness from the scene who caught the incident on video said: ‘My first thoughts were I just witnessed a serious injury or death but I was amazed when the e-scooter rider stood up
‘My thoughts on e-scooters, I think they could be a good, cheap means of transport for many people, but there should be some sort of basic training similar to mopeds and a requirement for them to be insured and not ride on foot paths.
‘I hope the government will soon bring in legislation that will allow them to be used legally and safely on the roads.’
Since the incident, it has been confirmed that the scooter rider has admitted full responsibility.
